London Road

London Road is a main road taking the A1214 to the A1214-A137-A1071 crossroads. The A1214 then continues north.

Norwich Road is part of the A1214 (Copdock Mill Interchange - A12 Martlesham). London Road makes up a significant portion of the A1214.

London Road used to go all the way to London from Ipswich, before the A12 was built. The original route of London Road was partially preserved, turning right off of the A1214, and providing access to TESCO, Park & Ride, and more. Then there is an abandoned stretch of the road fenced off, then London Road continues through Copdock and Capel St Mary, to a junction with the eastbound carriageway of the A12

London Road taken from the crossroads with Ranelagh Road and Hadleigh Road.

London Road is 9.9km long (including Copdock and Capel St Mary).
